Last Night, on the A1 Dual carriageway at Sprucefield, a silver Toyota Corolla was halted by Road Policing Interceptors. Employing preemptive tactics, the interception aimed to forestall any potential pursuit. The vehicle and its occupants had been linked to multiple incidents reported over the past few days in the Newry and Banbridge areas.

Following the interception, authorities conducted a thorough search of the vehicle. Among the discovered items were cleaning products valued at over £1000 and several counterfeit Scottish £50 notes. These findings prompted the arrest of two males and one female on charges related to theft and the possession of counterfeit currency.

Currently, the detained individuals are cooperating with police inquiries, providing information to aid ongoing investigations. This proactive approach underscores the commitment to #KeepingPeopleSafe, ensuring swift action against criminal activities that threaten public well-being.
