A Summer Celebration at Carrickfergus Castle

Carrick Coastal Vibes will take over Castle Green, in front of the iconic Carrickfergus Castle, on Monday 25th August from 1pm to 4pm.

The free event, organised by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, promises an afternoon of music, workshops, and family-friendly entertainment.


Jam-Packed Activities for All Ages

Visitors can expect a wide range of fun activities and workshops, including:

  • Messy play for children
  • A petting farm
  • Pop-up scooter half pipe
  • Breakdance workshop
  • Football skills with Sam Madden
  • Climbing wall
  • Circus skills workshop
  • Soft play area
  • Face painting
  • Toddler rave

Live Music and Artisan Market

Music lovers can enjoy performances by Susi Pagel and Little Feet, setting the soundtrack for the afternoon.

In addition, an artisan market will showcase local traders with a variety of handmade and unique goods, including:

More Events Coming to Carrickfergus

Carrick Coastal Vibes is part of a series of exciting events in the town. The following week, the Irish Guards will make a rare public appearance to mark their 125th anniversary with a ceremonial parade and marching display in Castle Car Park on Thursday 4th September from 4–5pm.
