22-year-old Gabriel Johnston from Belfast has sadly passed away following a serious road traffic collision involving a car and lorry on Sheepwalk Road, Lisburn, on Tuesday 6th May. Police are appealing for witnesses or dash-cam footage.


Police Appeal After Fatal Road Crash in Lisburn Claims Life of Young Belfast Man

Police have confirmed that Gabriel Johnston, aged 22 and from the Belfast area, has tragically died following a two-vehicle collision in Lisburn last week.

The collision, involving a car and a lorry, occurred at around 5pm on Tuesday 6th May on Sheepwalk Road.

Emergency Services Responded Swiftly

Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, along with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, responded to the scene.

Mr Johnston, who was driving the car, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away in the days following the incident.


Ongoing Investigation – Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Inspector Cherith Adair, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“Our investigation to establish the circumstances of the collision is ongoing. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant dash-cam footage from the area at the time.”
