A 61-year-old man has been accused of non-recent sexual offences, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI). Alongside him, a 57-year-old woman has also been apprehended and charged for aiding and abetting further offences. Both individuals are scheduled to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on April 24.
The arrests took place on Thursday, with the suspects being transported to Antrim Police Station for questioning and formal charges. The PSNI stated that standard protocol entails the review of all charges by the Public Prosecution Service.
