Carrick Amateur Boxing Club is a welcoming, community-focused boxing gym based in the heart of Carrickfergus. We provide structured boxing training for children, teenagers, and adults of all abilities, from complete beginners to those looking to progress into competitive amateur boxing.

Located at 41 Ellis Street, Carrickfergus, directly below The Moghul restaurant, our club offers a safe, supportive, and motivating environment where members can build fitness, confidence, discipline, and self-belief.

What We Offer
Junior Boxing (Ages 7–12)
Our junior classes focus on fitness, coordination, balance, and respect. Sessions are fun, energetic, and designed to help children grow in confidence while learning the fundamentals of boxing in a safe and structured setting.

Training Times:

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
6:45 PM – 7:30 PM

Senior Boxing (Ages 13+)
Senior training is open to all fitness levels, from beginners just starting out to experienced boxers and competitors. Sessions focus on technique, conditioning, strength, and discipline, with pathways available for those interested in competitive boxing.

7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Ladies BoxFit
Our Ladies BoxFit class is a high-energy, confidence-boosting workout suitable for women of all fitness levels. It’s a great way to improve fitness, relieve stress, and enjoy boxing-style training in a friendly group environment.
