Charity Concert for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice

UPA (Uplift Performing Arts) is delighted to announce this charity fundraiser in aid of the NI
Children’s Hospice. Not only will UPA have its company cast performing, they will be joined
by a variety of local artists and groups including:

Lauren Doherty, Acting Director of Commercial and Brand Development at NI
Hospice, said: “It’s fantastic that Uplift have chosen to support the work of NI Children’s
Hospice with this charity concert. The arts play such a significant role in how we deliver our
care, the children love the art and music sessions in Horizon House, as well as the visiting
drama performances; so it is definitely a fitting way of raising funds.
Uplift’s support will have such a positive impact on the most vulnerable in our local
community – the babies and children with life-threatening and life-limiting illness who we
care for, as well as their families. Thank you to UPA and all the acts taking part in the
concert.”
Ryan Moffett, Executive Director and Co-Founder, said: “In February we produced a
show called ‘Bully’ which raised money for the NSPCC. A massive part of our vision this year
at UPA is to produce opportunities to give back to the community that has supported us for
the past 14 years. We look forward to seeing everyone there, so that we can give them a
night of entertainment in thanks for their continued generosity.”
