A report of a burglary has been made in the Moyarget Road area of Ballycastle, Northern Ireland. The incident occurred overnight between Saturday, 28th January and Sunday, 29th January. A number of items, including those of sentimental value, were taken from the household.
Detectives from the local police force are now investigating the matter and are appealing for information from the public. They would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area overnight, including odd vehicles or individuals on foot.
In addition, they are asking anyone who has dash-cam or CCTV footage to review it and report anything that may be of assistance to the investigation. The public can report information by calling 101 and quoting reference number 438 29/01/23, submitting a report online using the non-emergency reporting form, contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or submitting information online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
Detective Sergeant Stewart stated, “We appreciate the assistance of the public in our enquiries and hope that anyone with information will come forward.”
