After a quantity of suspected drugs worth £8,400 was discovered in Co Down on Tuesday, a 64-year-old lady was charged with a number of drug-related offences.
The suspected Class B drugs, as well as other goods, were discovered during a search of a residence in Ballynahinch, according to police.
The woman has been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including allowing the production of Class B prohibited substance on her property and producing a Class B controlled substance.
On April 6, she is scheduled to appear in Downpatrick Magistrate’s Court.
All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is standard procedure.
A 37-year-old man was also detained on suspicion of a number of criminal offences, including possession of a Class B controlled substance with intent to supply, according to the PSNI.
They verified that he was released on police bail pending the results of the investigation.
