Netflix is no longer serving users in Russia as a result of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
On Sunday, the streaming service acknowledged that it had completely stopped down in the country (March 6).
“Given the circumstances on the ground, we have decided to suspend our service in Russia,” a spokesperson said, via Variety.
Netflix earlier announced that it would halt any future projects and acquisitions with Russia, joining a growing list of countries that have severed connections with Russia as a result of the invasion of Ukraine.
