The man who Sadly lost his life after an incident in Carrickfergus this morning, has been named locally as John Traynor from Ballycastle.
The incident happened just off the Knockagh Road, Carrickfergus.
NI Air Ambulance and emergency services responded to the emergency shortly after 9 am this morning.
Mr Traynor had been trapped under a heavy goods vehicle and unfortunately died at the scene.
MLA John Stewart said:

very difficult time. I want to commend the emergency services, air ambulance and first responders for all their efforts. My thoughts
