Jenifer Dornan, a mother of three, was murdered in her west Belfast home in August 2015, and a man has been sentenced to life in prison.
After returning home following a night out with friends, Raymond O’Neill attacked the 30-year-old before lighting her house on fire.
Jennifer Dornan was so extensively burned that her dental records were the only way to identify her.
Garda apprehended O’Neill in 2016 and extradited him to the United States to face murder and arson charges.
On both allegations, the jury in Belfast Crown Court reached unanimous guilty verdicts today.
