Garda has charged a man who carried a deceased pensioner to the post office to collect his pension.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of deception on Wednesday after the pair carried Peadar Doyle, 66, to a post office in Carlow, Ireland last Friday.
One of the men has been charged today (Thursday 27.1.22) whos in his 30’s, by the Garda and the other man has been released without charge.
The man who has been charged will appear before a hearing at District Court later on Thursday.
