Liam Neeson is a Northern Irish actor best recognised for his appearances in the ‘Star Wars’ prequel saga and the ‘Taken’ film franchise.
He featured in a theatre production in ‘Of Mice and Men’ (1980). where he was spotted by director John Boorman who later cast him in ‘Excalibur’ (1981)
He appeared in films such as ‘Excalibur’ (1981), ‘A Woman of Substance’ (1984), ‘The Mission’ (1986), ‘Suspect’ (1987), ‘Darkman’ (1990), and ‘Shining Through’ (1992).
For his performance in ‘Schindler’s List’ (1993), Liam Neeson was nominated for a ‘Academy Award,’ a ‘British Academy Film Award,’ and a ‘Golden Globe.’ His portrayal of Oskar Schindler won him a ‘Oscar’ nod for best actor.
