Irish tricolour used to represent Northern Ireland during the Platinum Jubilee concert.

After the Irish tricolour was used to represent Northern Ireland at the Queen’s Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace on Saturday, the BBC has since apologised.
Users on social media were quick to mock the occurrence, which occurred during a segment by actor and comedian Doc Brown, who was doing a spoken word poem celebrating UK sport.

A BBC spokesperson said to The Belfast Telegraph: “The incorrect flag appeared in a brief montage during Doc Brown’s appearance last night. We apologise for the error and the sequence will be edited on iPlayer.”
