In 2022, the PSNI cannot believe they are still stopping drunk drivers on a regular basis.
A drunk driver drove through Coolnafranky Park and got his car stuck in the garden fence.
The incident occurred today during lunchtime while children were playing. “It’s a miracle no one was injured,” the PSNI said.
The two in the car fled but were apprehended on Fountain Road a short distance away. Both remain in custody this evening, as the court file is being prepared.
The PSNI said, “A big thank you goes to everyone in Coolnafranky this afternoon for your actions preventing the car continuing after it crashed and for your assistance in locating the two individuals.”
