A 45-year-old woman from Co Down is accused of sexually abusing a schoolboy.
On Tuesday, she was set to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court on accusations of grooming and inciting the minor to engage in sexual activity.
However, the case was adjourned so that additional time could be spent preparing it.
To protect the alleged victim’s identity, the accused is not being named at this time.
She faces six counts stemming from the months of May and June of last year.
Sexual communication with a minor and meeting a child after sexual grooming is among the counts.
Sexual touching and causing a juvenile between the ages of 13 and 16 to participate in sexual behaviour are also allegations.
She’s also charged with taking and possessing a child’s indecent photograph.
The case has been adjourned for four weeks, according to the Northern Ireland Courts Service.
By consent, the woman was remanded on continuous bail.
