Jet2.com & Jet2holidays released a customer update on their facebook page on flights and Holiday to mainland SPAIN, BALEARIC ISLANDS AND CANARY ISLANDS
REGARDING FLIGHTS AND HOLIDAYS TO MAINLAND
SPAIN, BALEARIC ISLANDS AND CANARY ISLANDS
Following the latest govemment advice regarding travel to the Balearic
and Canary Islands from the UK, we have taken the decision to suspend
flights and holidays to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura,
Lmzarote, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza up to and including 9th August.
We have already suspended flights and holidays to our destinations in
Mainland Spain (Costa de Almeria, Alicante, Malaga and Murcia) up
to and including 16th August.
Where customers are affected by any programme changes, we will be in
touch to discuss options, which include rebooking with no admin fee, a
Refund Credit Note or a full cash refund. We urge customers not to call
our Contact Centres at this time as we will be contacting all affected
customers as soon as we can.
We will also be contacting customers who are currently in these
destinations, and who have their travel plans affected by these latest
changes. Again, we would ask customers not to call us and we’ll be in
touch as soon as we can to discuss options.
For customers who are due to travel to these destinations after the
dates given above, we will provide an additional update once we receive
more information from the government.
We want to provide customers, who work hard and save hard for their
well-deserved holidays, with timely information and we continue to
seek this from the govemment. We would like to sincerely thank our
customers for their understanding and patience.
