David has shared some of his Recipes with us:

HOME BAKED SAUSAGE ROLL’S
These homemade sausage rolls can be cut into small pieces for appetizers, or make them larger and enjoy them for lunch or dinner.
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 600 g Shortcrust Pastry
- 500 g pork mince
- 90 g small diced onions
- 75 g small diced apple
- 8 g black pepper
- 1 egg medium
- 40 g dried breadcrumbs
- 10 g smoked paprika
- 5 g salt
Instructions

Put the meat into the bowl add the onion and breadcrumbs

seasoning and spices add the eggs and bind together

Put into a medium-size pipping bag cut the tip to your required

size and pipe your line onto the pastry

Roll out the short pastry 1/4” (5 mm) thick.

Cut into desired size squares, for example, 4” (10 cm) wide.

Place the sausage meat onto the pastry.

Moisten the edges with egg wash (beaten egg), then fold over the pastry and seal together.

Paint top with egg wash.

Place onto a baking sheet and bake in an oven at 200°C (400° F) for 20 minutes.

note: Drop egg and add 15ml Worcester sauce if you are dairy intolerant
